These decorative columns are available as smooth, recessed, or fluted columns in tapered or non-tapered (straight) column design. Column Bases are available as a Tuscan style or Attic base. Some sizes include the option to use a less expensive urethane or plastic Tuscan base and Capital, ideal for low traffic areas or where extreme whether conditions are unlikely.

Load-Bearing capacity is dependent on distributing the load evenly over bearing surfaces of the shaft. All installation information is of general nature; columns should be installed and secured according to standard construction practices and in compliance with local regulations. 2nd story balconies should not be attached directly to the side of any column.

*16″ and 24” Columns have an astragal and capital support ring that is part of the shaft. The astragal is 9″ and the support ring is 5-1/8″ from the top on the 16” column and the astragal is 14-5/16” and the support ring is 7-1/8” from the top on the 24” column. Astragal and or support ring can be removed.
